Create Shortcut Adempiere (windows) untuk 2 server

langkah menambah kan shortcut adempiere di windows :

1. buka adempiere dengan user tertentu, dan temukan file adempiere.properties pada system administration/user
2. setelah itu rubah nama file tersebut dan sesuaikan namanya, misal : adempiere.properties.a
3. buat file bat pada folder yang sama di adempiere.properties.adk yang isinya sama dengan RUN_Adempiere.bat akan tetapi ditambahin script untuk mencopy file adempiere.properties dengan adempiere.properties.adk di baris paling atas, scriptnya adalah sebagai berikut :
copy Adempiere.properties.adk Adempiere.properties

4. setelah itu pada file bat (misal : adempiereA.bat) buatkan shortcut, bisa dengan klik kanan send to --> shortcut
dan setelah dibuat shortcut, maka tinggal diklik untuk menuju ke server sesuai dengan yang kita setting, dan untuk logo bisa disesuaikan.
pada client/server yang lain caranya sama.

Shortcut Adempiere (2 Server) di Opensuse

membuat shortcut Adempiere pada opensuse untuk 2 server/lebih, misal untuk server A dan B :

1. Buka dulu adempiere asi (username+ password dari user tsb)
2. Secara otomatis di home langsung ter-create "Adempiere.properties"
3. Pada file Adempiere.properties tsb terecord informasi login adempiere yang baru dijalankan dan rename file tsb (misal : Adempiere.properties.b)
4. setelah itu login lagi adempiere ke server yg lain , misal ke adk (username+ password dari user tsb)
5. secara otomatis di home langsung ter-create "Adempiere.properties"
6. rename Adempiere.properties jadi Adempiere.properties.a
7. stlh itu buat file sh
(misal namanya switch_adempiereADK.sh) di home
(letaknya sama dg Adempiere.properties)
isinya "cp -f Adempiere.properties.a Adempiere.properties
sh ./Adempiere/RUN_Adempiere.sh"
begitupuun jg dg yg asi (isinya disesuaikan ) --> switch_adempiereB.sh
8. nah trus buat shortcut di menu
dan perintahnya tinggal di ganti sh ~/switch_adempiereA.sh

Instalasi Oracle XE di openSuse 10.x

Berikut adalah langkah-langkah untuk menginstall oracle XE (masih gratisan) pada opensuse 10.x (berlaku untuk versi 10.2 ke atas)

1. Download paket RPM oracleXe.
2. Install dengan perintah
#rpm -ivh oracle-xe-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm
3. Setelah selesai, lakukan konfigurasi dengan perintah:
#/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure

4. Ikuti step by step konfigurasi. Contoh:

Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Configuration
-------------------------------------------------
This will configure on-boot properties of Oracle Database 10g Express
Edition. The following questions will determine whether the database should
be starting upon system boot, the ports it will use, and the passwords that
will be used for database accounts. Press to accept the defaults.

Specify the HTTP port that will be used for Oracle Application Express [8080]:

Specify a port that will be used for the database listener [1521]:

Specify a password to be used for database accounts. Note that the same
password will be used for SYS and SYSTEM. Oracle recommends the use of

Do you want Oracle Database 10g Express Edition to be started on boot (y/n) [y]:n

Starting Oracle Net Listener...Done
Configuring Database...Done

To access the Database Home Page go to "http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex"

Installasi Adempiere 3.3.0 client di Linux open suse

Installasi Adempiere 3.3.0 client di Linux open suse :

1. Copy file java (jdk-1_5_0_09-linux-i586-rpm.bin) ke komputer local

2. Copy file Adempiere Client ke komputer local

3. jalankan konsole dan masuk ke direktori file java lalu install java melalui konsole dengan perintah berikut

   # ./jdk-1_5_0_09-linux-i586-rpm.bin lalu Enter

4. setelah diinstall java lalu pada folder Adempiere yang telah dicopy terdapat file RUN_Adempiere.sh , buka file tersebut pada sebuah editor (Kwrite dll)

5. setelah file tersebut dibuka kemudian tambahkan script berikut untuk open suse 10.2 :

#ADEMPIERE_HOME=/Adempiere

export ADEMPIERE_HOME=~/Adempiere

export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_09

export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH

export CUPS_SERVER=localhost

#JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/java

sedangkan pada open suse 10.3 script tersebut ditambahkan pada bagian paling atas (pada script diatas) yaitu :

export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=1

atatan :script yang ditambahkan hanya yang dicetak tebal dan di tambahkan pada baris aktif (script tanpa awalan #) yang ke-2

selain itu pada bagian akhir script pada bagian :

$JAVA -Xms32m -Xmx512m -DADEMPIERE_HOME=$ADEMPIERE_HOME $PROP $SECURE -classpath $CLASSPATH org.compiere.Adempiere

untuk “-Xmx512m” diganti dengan “-Xmx256m”

6. setelah itu buat shortcut / menu untuk mengakses adempiere
